In Loving Memory of Blake Cromwell
A faithful servant, a loving husband, and a beacon of hope to many.
A Life of Faith, Love, and Service
Blake’s journey began during the Jesus Movement in 1969, where his faith ignited as a senior at Hanford High. Joining hands with Vernon Rogers, David Tolladay, and Wes Champlin, Blake co-founded His Place, a Christian coffee house ministry that brought hope to the young people of Hanford, Lemoore, and Corcoran.
In 1973, Blake’s life was blessed when he married Rena, his steadfast partner in ministry and life. Together, they pursued a deeper understanding of God’s word, earning degrees in Biblical studies from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. Blake’s passion for ministry continued to inspire and guide countless individuals throughout his life.
